Not tonight honey...

First, a big thank you to Bev, day-care provider extraordinaire, for sharing the following gem with me. It arrived by e-mail during a rough week at work, making the laugh that much more appreciated. The names have been modified to protect the anonymity of the other children.

Olivia(4), B (girl - 3) and S (boy - 4 - previously known as her husband, see "Single Again" post on October 1st) were playing what they call mommy and baby. Olivia being the mommy and B being the baby. S came over and wanted to be the cat but Olivia really wanted him to be the baby. So he did some fast talking and came up with "No, why don't we just make up a baby." Olivia gave him the biggest smile and said "Well, I really like you but I don't want to do that right now!"
