This morning went as every normal weekday morning. Hectic with no small
amount of bickering between the two girls. As usual, had to raise my voice and
growl at them to quit it. What was different is that for once, they stopped
arguing. And I was so proud when I saw Olivia drawing a heart and the beginning
of her sister's name in the condensation on the window, that I couldn't resist
saying to Emily "Awwww... look at that, she is writing in the window that she
loves you..."
Didn't take long to get an answer back: "No mom! She wrote "Em pu"!
Right on the front door!" (Which is shorthand and poor spelling for "Emily
stinks" in French!)And on that note, little sister proudly picked up her school bag and headed outside...
Good thing that the supposedly stinky one found it funny because I could hardly contain the chuckle!
t'aime..."
