Still, we were unprepared... A few weeks after the move, going to bed exhausted after a long day unpacking, we did what every parent does before going to bed: checked on the kids. I went in Olivia's bedroom and my heart skipped a few beats to find her bed empty! Quick check in Emily's room because for sure Olivia went and crawled in with her (too panicked to think that there is no chance on earth that such an event would have gone un-noticed and mostly un-announced by a loud "Mommmmyyyy, Olivia is bugging me!"). No. Only Emily in her own bed.
By that time Paul is also in the room and points to her toy box... sound asleep in there! Did she fall off the bed and was lucky enough to have the fabric toy box break her fall?... I don't think so... Unless she was so increadibly lucky to have her pillow fall first, and her blanket last, covering the box perfectly...
But why oh why would someone wants to sleep with her head at a 90 degree angle from her body and her legs sticking out at the knees... That's another Oli-ism... You would think the bathtub would have been more comfy!
And she barely woke up when we placed her back in bed.
Glad you got a picture - love reading about your adventures. We are all well in South Carolina, got to Kentville for a visit this summer - there are certain things we miss a lot but SC is fun too.
